Is it ok to mix different brands of Vodka?

Im making Vodka jelly shots with co-op Vodka, but I wont be having much of it, then whilst im out im taking Smirnoff Vodka. I’ve heard that mixing drinks isn’t good, but would mixing brands make a difference?

Yes it’s OK. Bit of a waste of any is a good brand but OK. The mixing drinks thing refers to different types of drink, basically grape and grain. So drinking wine and whisky will give you a worse hangover.

I do that once in a while. I love this raspberry drink that my friend makes but it’s a little sweet. It has raspberry vodka so to lighten up the flavor, I added lime flavored vodka and of course a wedge of lime.

There’s nothing wrong with mixing drinks as long as it tastes good and it’s not a dairy based or something that would need a dairy product like a mudslide for instance. Mixologists wouldn’t be in business if they didn’t mix things up right?

you can mix the brands just not the liqueur

Sure. The only problem is that lower quality Vodkas will cancel out or ruin the smoothness of a premium Vodka.
